A special item on Nutrition Food was presented by the students during the morning assembly. The programme highlighted the importance of eating balanced and healthy food for overall growth and well-being. Students showcased informative placards, delivered a short skit on good eating habits, and explained the benefits of fruits, vegetables, and millets. Bagless Day for Classes 6–8

PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Golconda, Hyderabad celebrated Bagless Day for Classes 6–8 with great enthusiasm. Students participated in various hands-on activities such as art & craft, gardening, fun science experiments, yoga, music and outdoor games. The activities encouraged creativity, teamwork and experiential learning. Teachers guided students through skill-based tasks that made learning joyful and stress-free. The celebration reflected the spirit of NEP 2020 and provided students an enjoyable break from routine classroom learning.

Standards Club Webinar on “Learning Science via Standards” – A webinar on “Learning Science via Standards” was conducted for Class 9 students under the Standards Club at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2 Golconda, Hyderabad. The session aimed to help Class 9 learners connect their science concepts with real-life applications through the use of standards. The resource person explained the importance of standards in ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality in daily life and scientific activities. Students learned how measurements, units, calibration, testing, and quality control are guided by national and international standards. Through simple examples and interactive discussions, the session helped Class 9 students understand how standards support technology, protect consumers, and promote scientific thinking. The webinar encouraged students to use standardized methods in their experiments, projects, and observations.
